I have been a proud member of Recipezaar since November 2001. Hubby and I currently reside in an old farmhouse that has been nicely updated and sits on 22 acres of farmland with horse pastures and a 2 acre pond. We are only responsible for the house and about 4 acres of the property, but we have the wonderful benefit of cohabitating with the owner's horses, Newfies (Newfoundland dogs), and a slew of entertaining barn cats. We also have a couple of spoiled rotten indoor kitties that have no idea how good they really got it. We couldn't hollar at our closest neighbor if we wanted to, and we really like it that way. It's pretty much a little slice of heaven!
I am not a real big "by the book" cook...but always start with a good base and let my imagination go from there. My philosophy...why not!...if it doesn't turn out you can always order a pizza!
Ribeye...no doubt about it...Ribeye - - - about 3/4 inch thick - - - preferably grilled - - - coarse salt, cracked pepper, and a hint of garlic - - - medium and a minute - - - naked (unless I have a side dish of shrooms and/or onions). Oh...and veggies.
