about me

I live and teach in Montclair, California, the same city where I graduated from high school. I have been married for 35+ years and have two adult sons. My youngest son finished a tour of duty in Iraq in February 2008 and is scheduled to return sometime in the fall of 2008. He received a purple heart during his first tour of duty. I enjoy cooking and creating recipes. I sing with a local choral group as well as my church choir on Sunday mornings. I also started a children's chorus at the school in which I work. We made 5 appearances during our first year in existence.

Favorite Foods:

I like most foods and enjoy experimentation with ingredients and recipes. I am an avid view of Food Network shows and get a lot of my ideas for recipes from the chefs on the shows that I watch. My favorite Food Network chef is the newest Iron Chef, Chef Michael Symon.
