about me

I have a great husband and five adult children and four beautiful grandchildren. I am retired Psychiatric Case Manager. I love to cook for my family and friends. My grandmother passed on her love of cooking to me. She first introduced me to cooking as a young child where I spent many days on her farm baking. I have a cookbook that's dated 1918 that I love because it belonged to my grandmother. I enjoy cooking, farming, gardening, and most recently quilting. My goal in life is to pass on to my children and grandchildren my love of cooking

Favorite Foods:

I love to eat and cook all types of foods. I would like to become more proficient at baking rustic breads. My family would say that my most famous dish is my potato salad or chicken pie. Having lived in Maine all my life I have to say that I love good seafood. My Favorite seafood is Creamed Finnin Haddie on toast points. The lobster is pretty good too.
