about me

Hi, y'all! David is an attorney originally from New Orleans, and Heather is an educational assistant to Special Education students in middle school. We are very blessed with a daughter and 3 sons (3 teens, 1 preteen). We are passionate about our family, and being an Italian family makes us all foodies by nature! David is an absolute genius in the kitchen, and I love to cook just about anything that's rustic style! David had a near-fatal heart attack in 2004. With that and my food allergies that trigger migraines, we cook and eat fairly naturally--fresh, low fat/sodium. Our daughter recently decided to go vegetarian, which inspired me to do the same. The 'Zaar's vast resources for tasty, healthful vegetarian meals will make that a snap!
