about me

Well, I am a new stay-at-home mama (our son, Jack, was born on June 1, 2006). To prepare for his arrival, I cooked and froze enough food for 6 weeks. So, my new passion is OAMC, which I will try to continue at least on a small scale. It's just too hard to prepare dinner every day with an infant in my arms!

I hardly use any cookbooks besides recipezaar and www.hillbillyhousewife.com (she has yummy frugal recipes that we love).

Favorite Foods:

I love all food! Asian food is my weakness, as well as anything chocolate and peanut butter. I love fresh bread, as well. When I was working on cutting our grocery bill, I decided to buy a bread machine. Wow, I'm in heaven! I haven't bought a loaf of bread since. I think I have eaten PB on toast every morning for 6 months!
