Hi I'm Nicole, a self-taught cook in White House, TN. That's just a little north of Nashville. I have 2 little girls, age's 9 & 5. I love cooking, and actually love cooking for large groups. I'm always looking for easy recipies that my kids will enjoy since one is extremly picky, and one's that can be doubled or even tripled easly for family get togethers. I went back to work at the first of the year after spending 5 yr's at home with the girl's. I love being back in the rat race although I now work 3rd. shift as a Deputy Sheriff so I'm doing very little of the cooking these days. Now I search for recipes my husband can use & the girls can teach him to cook

Favorite Foods:

Well since I'm from the south, I love all those wonderful, fatening foods Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, greens..you get the idea. My favorite to make is a little harder, I have a lot of favorites. I posted my punch bowl cake, and it's probably my favorite dessert. It's very easy to make, and it looks beautiful on the table. And for a dish we're famous for, Willis Family Dego Cabbage. This is one thats been passed down on my dad's side of the family and even people that don't like cabbage like this one.
