I am from Mississippi and grew up in a home centered around the kitchen and cooking wonderful food. I am a stay at home mother. My favorite cookbook is the one I put together a few years ago of all my family's recipes.The oldest recipe is tea cakes that my great great grandmother made. I love family history and my second favorite hobby is scrapbooking.

I don't make them a lot but I am famous for chicken and dumplings-my grandmother taught me how to make them.
