DH and I live in the great state of TEXAS, in the country, raising chickens, horses and cattle. We have two girls, who are grown now but our youngest is in college and still at home with us. She is the pretty cowgirl I use for my icon.

My dd has recently become a member here on Zaar, refrigerator raider, and is FAST becoming a wonderful cook. We are having a great time together as we prepare for her wedding next year. Mama is trying to impart ALL her wisdom before her baby bird leaves the nest!

I am a bona-fide Zaar NUT! I love ZAAR and really enjoy spending time here meeting wonderful people from ALL over the world.

I collect recipes from ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE I go. I LOVE reading and collecting cookbooks and learning anything to do with food and cooking! (The eatin' ain't so bad either!)

My goal is to provide everyone at my table with a wonderful meal and good company and that anyone who leaves Mama's kitchen, leaves "FAT'n HAPPY"! My cookbooks contain everything from the basic, fast and easy recipes to somewhat gourmet, 'impress the guests' type of recipes!

Bottom line for me is, if there is a quick and simple way to get the same top quality results, I am all for it!

Life is short and time is precious! I want to spend as much of it as I can enjoying my family and friends! I hope you enjoy my recipes and cookbooks!
