I want to thank you all for trying my recipes and taking the time to submit your reviews. Thank you also for the beautiful photos added to my recipes. I try to thank each person via zmail but am not always successful at that!

Life is short and time is precious! I want to spend as much of it as I can enjoying my family and friends! I hope you enjoy my recipes and cookbooks!









DH and I live in rural TEXAS, in the country, down a dirt road.



Just when you think you are really lost, have NO cell phone signal, and think you are driving in someones pasture, you are at MY HOUSE! We raise cattle, mostly Red Polled Hereford and Santa Gertrudis.



We are the proud parents of two beautiful girls who are grown and married now.



Our oldest lives about 2 hours away and has two beautiful girls of her own.




My youngest is the pretty cowgirl I use for my icon. She recently graduated from college, became an RN and got married! All in the same busy summer!



You may know her as refrigerator raider. She is FAST becoming a wonderful cook and we are having a great time cooking together!







We spent New Year's with Cheryl and her family in NC! What a blast!




I love ZAAR and really enjoy spending time here meeting wonderful people from ALL over the world. I was so honored and thrilled to be a bridesmaid at NcMysteryShopper 's wedding in Costa Rica this past February!

Here we are! Sarah- the flowergirl, her Mommy- Leslie, Nancy- Sassafrasnanc, ME- Mama's Kitchen, NcMysteryShopper- the bride, V- our darling MC, and Chelle-Mommy Diva- our other darling MC.

We had so much fun!



I have also had the privilege to meet PanNan and her dd. What wonderfully sweet ladies!
