about me

I am a stay at home Mom of two very active boys aged 11 and 8. I am also a part-time Step-Mom to a lovely, little 10 year old girl. My fiance and the boys are all picky eaters. So I have had to "re-invent" a lot of meals in order to get it past their inspections. This has led me to find some GREAT recipes.

I am a baker at heart. I love to see all those beautiful little cookies all lined up so neatly on a tray. And I love the sound of the flipper-thingy (we call it a pletchka) separating the cookies from their seats.

We must all nourish our souls. This place is a great outlet for some good nourishment.

I have gone through a lot in my short life. My motto is simply: "That is THIS minute... give it time... things will get better... eventually... I hope!" There are brighter days ahead, I just have to make it through the rain.
