about me

I'm a misplaced Texan in Damn Yankee territory...SAVE ME!!! just kidding, although I do miss Texas terribly. I have found CT to be a beautiful friendly place to live. I love to cook and bake...but I loathe the clean-up. So, half the time my kitchen is clean and we eat out, or it's a wreck and we eat delicious. Oh well...

Favorite Foods:

I love almost all kinds of food...except for extremely spicy food. I can eat moderately hot food...but draw the line at sweating. haha I miss Texas BBQ, as well as comfort food...but my MIL moved up here too, so I can get a fix from her. I have Yankee parents, so I don't know how to cook all the traditional southern fixins...but I'm learning...because I love Southern food and it's hard to get up here.
