We live in a town, in the South Island of New Zealand. We, being a husband (married 22 years), myself and three children: one 21 year old daughter, one 19 year old son and one 15 year old son. Our daughter has now left home so we're down to four.

I work as a Community Carer. This basically means I attend to people's personal care in their own home. I love my job immensely. Why wouldn't I, when I go to work and are told how much they appreciate the things I do for them. It’s what every working mum dreams of (lol).

I love to bake, starting when I was about 12yo. As the family has become more independent it has allowed me the extra time to sit down and study this site in more depth. I now want to become more adventurous with the main meals.

There's not a great deal I won't eat. Same goes for the rest of the family too.
