about me

My love for cooking started as a child when I used to help my mom prepare meals for our family and friends. Her passion for cooking showed me the importance of serving through opening our home and our kitchen to others.

As an adult I've had the opportunity to try many ethnic foods; which I love and enjoy cooking. My husband and i got married in 2004 and I've come to enjoy cooking for two! My husband also enjoys trying new things which makes our kitchen busy and inventive. I've enjoyed trying new recipes on Zaar and look forward to posting more of my own creations for others to try.

My husband and I share our home in Prince George, BC Canada with our 5 year old chocolate lab, Ubu. We also enjoy hosting international students which always provides us with entertainment in the kitchen; trying new recipes or teaching our students how to cook!

Camping, hiking and entertaining are a few of our favorite pass-times. Thanks to Zaar, these events are made easier with great ideas and quick, easy meals.

With Zaar's help I have now managed to complete a monthly meal plan, incorporating some new recipes weekly with our old favorites. My next goal is to find some good OAMC recipes which will make our busy life a little more organized!
