about me

I cook mostly for my family so my recipes are husband and toddler friendly, not always gourmet! I am co-host of the Kid-Friendly Cooking Forum with Chef ladypit and I am always happy to help other moms get good food into their kids! I have been OAMC for a little while now. Although I have yet to do an entire month, I frequently stock the freezer with extras to make life easier. Also, I have cut our grocery bill by half by using recipezaar to home-make many of our favorite convenience foods. I work in pediatrics at a local hospital and I am going to school. I love food, cooking, and recipes so this is the perfect place for me!

I love Beef and Seafood, anything char-grilled, Chicago-style Pizza, Japanese Steakhouses, starting to get the hang of this whole Tex-Mex thing, LOVE appetizers!
