about me

I live in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon with my husband and my 1 1/2 year-old son. I love to cook and try out new recipes, especially using my in-laws as guinea pigs (they are both professional chefs).

Lately my husband and I have been trying to eat healthier, so I'm forever searching for yummy and satisfying low fat, low cal recipes. It's also really important to me that my son develops healthy eating habits, so I like to make him toddler faves (like chicken nuggets) from scratch, instead of buying the processed stuff.

Favorite Foods:

Anything with a cream sauce, cheese, or sour cream on it will be devoured by me. I love rich foods, and I miss them oh, so very much!!

I make killer cilantro-lime fish tacos, chicken lasagna, and stuffed turkey burgers! Savory foods are my favorite to make... I'm not big on baking, and not that great at it, either.
