Married to an unpicky eater, mother of "Chunky" who is almost a year old. Before the baby, we lived in a hip university town and dined out regularly on cuisines from around the world. Now we live in a little town with few restaurants and not much desire to leave the house anyway.
Thus my cooking adventures began. Originally from Malaysia, I have a penchant for spicy foods.
Spicy foods: burn-your-throat kind of spicy (like chili peppers), not the up-your-nose kind of spicy (like wasabi).
Love sushi, especially since I can't whip it up in my kitchen. Love satay even though making it takes 12 hours plus a trip to the Asian store 30 miles away.
Favorite chain restaurants : Macaroni Grill (for food & atmosphere) and Outback (for steak).
