Hi, I live in Saint Paul. I am a high school English teacher in Saint Paul. Cooking is my passion and now I am learning how to develop my own recipes. My husband is having a great time tasting all the creations and disasters that I come up with (POOR GUY). I don't have a favorite cookbook because usually I am using 5 or 6 recipes from the Net AND from cook books to create just the right taste for my husband and I.

Favorite Foods:

I am a happy home cook and a wanna be Food Network star. Yet, I have never entered a contest or submitted any "winning" recipes. I once fancied going to culinary school but realized that I am too d*mn old. So, I spend my free time wiling away the hours watching Lydia Bastianich, America's Test Kitchen, Malto Mario, and all the famous PBS and Foodnetwork celebrity chefs. Along the way, I have picked up some great techniques and recipes. I don't have a favorite dish to cook or a favorite restaurant I like to frequent. But, I prefer not to eat sushi( even at a fine Japanese establishment) or ANY foods from McDonald's.
