I love trying out new recipes on my husband and my co-workers - most everything I make turns out pretty well, and I have found some great recipes on Recipezaar! I'm a semi-professional belly dancer when I'm not at work at the doctors office or at home cooking (hence the screen name!). Married a guy who likes to cook, which I highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect guy - make sure he can cook, and likes to! My favorite cookbook is a family cookbook that was put together for a family reunion - I have used it so many times it has stains and marks all over it - the sign of a good cookbook!

My husband and I have three "children" - 1 cat: Brandy (age 8), and 2 dogs: Eagle (age 3) and Dixie (age 1). We adore them and I have a tendency to spoil them!

Favorite Foods:

I'm known for my Godiva chocolate cake and have made it several times for work and parties! I got the recipe here (#85797 - thanks Maggie0507!) but didn't have the spirits it called for. I did have a bottle of Godiva cappuccino liqueur and substituted that for the kahlua and bourbon the recipe called for - OMG! Can you say yummy! Everyone loves it, though it's really rich, and you can smell the liqueur when I remove the cake lid! Try it - it's fantastic!

I love trying new recipes and have found so many fantastic ones on this site - thank you to everyone who has helped me expand my menus! I tend to try out new things on my co-workers, who love when I bring in goodies!
