Just moved to Utah after 15 years in Germany. I work for the Army - 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, with 3 hours of commuting time each day. Luckily all my kids are grown and my husband is wonderful, so I don't mind the commute and I love having every Friday off. On the weekend I usually precook some chicken breasts or something so that we can have some quick and filling salads for dinner. Love the crockpot. We just bought a cute little brick house with a white fence, so we are working on making it our home with all of our European stuff.
I love and hate the fact that I am a meat and potatoes type of gal. I try to like the low calorie foods, and am always looking for recipes that will help me stay on my diet. I love sweets, so I make them for the office - that way they don't sit around the house.
