Hi! My name is Irene and I live in Northern Ontario. Wow, summer is over, I'm not ready to put away my sandals. More nice weather please I have been retired for 4 years now and don't know where I ever found the time to work. I enjoy to sew and do a bit of it for extra money to increase my travelling fund. I have just returned from a "dream come true holiday. I spent 3 weeks in Europe, Brussels, Berlin but most of the time in France. I felt like I had finally come home. My ancestors originate from Normandy, France. I am already starting to same to go back and this time spend a month just in France.
I love to invite my friends and try new recipes on them. I have started to be more adventurest in my selection of foodsI have been fortunate so far it has been a success. I am in the process of writing a recipe book for my brothers and sisters. This recipe book will be mostly comprised of recipes that my mother cooked for us as we where growing up and a few more recipes that have been our favorites troughout the years.
I love to come on this site and look and sometimes try the recipes that I like. I will try to give more feedback.
I really dont use any cookbooks anymore because I always get what I need on this site.
I love to hear from other women from other countries and learn from there experiences and tried recipes.

Favorite Foods:

It is hard to tell you what my favorite food is because their is not to many things that I do not like.(food that is) I love Thai food and Indian dishes the best I believe. Since my trip to Europe I have adventured more in French cuisine.
