about me

I live together with my DH and dog Sam and cat Mr. Popper. We have one son and two daughters living away from home, but they seem to keep coming home almost every weekend, which we love! Family get-togethers are a big part of our life.

My DH is a building construction instructor, and I work in an office as a coordinator in the business/commercial development unit. I am waiting for the day I can retire - or maybe fulfil a dream of mine to start up a B&B.

My passion in life is cooking - always has been and probably always will be. My family is a wonderful set of guinea pigs and rarely complain about anything I make! I have a collection of about 150 cookbooks, but am finding with this site I'm not buying as many books anymore!

Favorite Foods:

I gravitate towards Mediterranean recipes, which always seem to bursting with amazing flavours. Interesting seafood and chicken dishes are also high on my list.
