I enjoy all types of foods. Mostly, I prefer casual home cooked foods with as many fresh ingredients as possible. However, I pass on asparagus, blueberries, and brussel sprouts. I do like to try new things though and find that I sometimes have a taste for Thai and Indian. I also enjoy a good Italian meal and my favorite Italian restaurant is Victoria's in Appleton, WI (unfortunately haven't been there in 6 years). Sure I can make pasta dishes at home, but it's not the same and it is always so much better to just sit and enjoy another person's efforts.
I guess I might be best known for desserts since I am most likely to bring a dessert to a gathering. I like to try new dessert recipes, but only when I know others will be around to share in the calories and pass on their smiles.
My one food wish would be fresh Michigan Strawberries year-round. But, I guess if I had them all the time they wouldn't be so special for the 2-3 weeks in June when they are available.
