about me

I moved to Canada from the U.S. in 2004 with my husband and our three dogs. I spent a year and a half in the process of getting permanent residency status here in Canada and during that time I was unable to work legally. I played the role of fulltime housewife which meant quite a bit of time spent in the kitchen. That was one part of the no-job situation I actually liked!

I am a photographer, but before and during college, I worked in restraunts, which I enjoyed. I love a meal with good visual presentation, even if it's just me and my husband enjoying it. My pet peeves are the lack of a sharp knife in a kitchen, and people who abuse cast-iron cookware!
