I like big food. Steaks are thick, lasagne is layers deep, Shrimp are big and succulent, and the herbs are chopped into chunks, not diced, minced, shredded or spindled.
I have cooked for 3 to 300 (cooking for two is ALWAYS cooking for 3 with me) and can get my kids to eat broccoli - food should be fun. Fun to cook and fun to eat. We always ask the kids to close their eyes and describe what they can taste - how many different flavors?
From the very mundane to the very exotic, I eat it all. Spam is a delicacy in our house - where the kids have been eating sushi, pho, tamales, and curry since they could handle solid foods.
