Hi there, my name is Christine, and I'm a HUGE foodie
I'm currently working on more recipe postings...I have a binder bursting with tasty dishes that I'd love to share with you.
More about myself, I currently work in retail, after a year and a bit of formal traning in the kitchen at George Brown College. I now keep my cooking on a hobby level, but dinner parties are just that little bit tastier with my education (Yes, I'm very proud of my training). My favourite cookbook has to be Rachael Ray's 30 minute meals. Even though I like to cook, it's always nice to get a great meal on the table in a short period of time.
When I have spare time, I'm always on the lookout for a tasty new recipe to try out. I enjoy reading, needlepoint, travelling, and working out (It's the only way I get to eat my culinary creations without gaining TOO much weight)
My favourite but most time consuming dish to cook has to be Turducken with all the fixings (I definitely reccommend checking out Paul Prudhomme's recipe on chefpaul.com). The dish I'm known for is my no boil lasagna-really tasty, and so darn easy to make. I'll have that recipe posted shortly. My absolute favourite restaurant has to be a greasy spoon called Fifty's Restaurant. Kitsch and great food (and lots of it for a low price) seem to do the trick for me.
