about me

I am a wife and mom of 2 kids - ages 11 & 13. I have been a stay-at-home mom since my kids were born until I started substituting at their school two years ago. I decided to go back to school to be a media specialist. I graduated this May and am working as an elementary media specialist at the school that my children attended. Also, I am a native Georgian. I love to spend time with my family and my hobby is reading. I love to cook when I'm in the mood, and I get tired of cooking the same things. That's why Recipezaar is such a good thing for me! Also, my favorite cookbooks are organizational cookbooks (i.e. church, school) because everyone puts their best recipes in them - Just like Recipezaar. When I tell my friends about Recipezaar, I tell them it is like one really BIG church cookbook!!

Favorite Foods:

I love to cook all types of foods. My family likes my cooking and all the recipes I have been trying from Recipezaar. Visiting this site can be quite addicting . . .

One of my favorite restaurants is Appalachian Grill in Cartersville. It is privately owned - not a franchise. They have the best house salads and fish-shaped corn muffins with pecans.
