about me

I live with my husband and our two precious kitties in a an 101 year old farmhouse (fixer-upper) in central Indiana. I work for a non-profit organization and my husband owns a painting/wallcovering company. I'm addicted to recipezaar and the Food Network and have recently started cooking more diverse dishes and even created a cookbook for a friend, at his request! I like to write children's stories and be creative through other forms of writing, crafts, and all that stuff you can find at Michael's. Pet Peeve: someone who brings a dish to a family gathering and lets everyone rave about it, only to tell everyone later that they purchased it at a restaurant.

Favorite Foods:

Anything with tabasco. Anything loaded with sour cream. Anything my mom makes. Anything that Paula Deen cooks (yeah, butter!) OH, and my mother-in-law's apple dumplings with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. To die for!
