about me

I am a married, mother of 4. We live in northern Minnesota. I work as a vet technician for a pet clinic. My husband and I enjoy traveling locally as well as internationally. I have many cookbooks, as well as magazines that I enjoy cooking from, but a lot of the "old stand-bys" come from the Betty Crocker I received as a bridal shower gift back in 1981.

Favorite Foods:

I love to experiment with all sorts of recipes, and I think people enjoy coming over to sample whatever I've come up with. Our favorite restaurant goes by the name of "The Whistling Bird" which is located in Gilbert, MN. It is run by a man who is originally from Jamaica, and his wife. The menu is, of course, heavily Jamaican, but they also include quite a few non-Jamaican offerings as well. Everything is first-rate!
