I live in North Hero, VT. I'm a working mom with two great little boys. My husband is the main chef in our house. (He's great too!) I usually do only the holiday meals and desserts.
For fun I like needlework, gardening, TV, and computer gadgets.
I don't use real cookbooks much anymore! But we do like the American Classics book from the Cook's Illustrated people. And I've always loved my James Beard books for learning and reference.
Passions: My boys, and DEMOCRACY.
Pet peeves: Unkindness, driving too fast, unsolicited advice.

Favorite Foods:

I'm famous in my in-laws house for my Corn Pudding, and my pecan pie. I'll post recipes sometime.
I'm famous in my mom's house for my salads.
I'm famous in my own house for pie, especially apple (my boys love apple pie!) and tart cherry.
