I only have a handful of recipes that I treasure and cook on as frequent of basis as possible. I want to "broaden" my cook book and try new things.
Beef... the more rare the better. Pork... in all Mexican/New Mexican foods. I make the best Green Chili Stew, the recipe for which I may share here some day
I lived for 10 years, in New Mexico and came to love "New" Mexican food, as well as many Native American dishes.
Since there is not a category for this, I watch Food TV's Good Eats and Emeril. Both of which are not so much concerned with telling me how to do something, as opposed to why I should do something.
