I am a Southern Belle through and through seeing as my upbringing was in LA........That would be Lower Alabama. I think growing up in a Southern family requires you to know how to make people happy by feeding them. So it became my specialty.
I love to collect recipes. I'm always hitting thrift stores in hopes to find old cookbooks. I may be a little overloaded on the books, but you can never have to many right?
I enjoy going to small little cooking classes when I can.I was able to go to a weekend cooking class in Italy while my family was stationed in the UK. That is where my picture posted here came from. I had such a wonderful experience!
In my spare time I bowl on a couple of leagues. I also had a summer job where I learned to do some beaded jewelry, and it kind of became a liked hobby of mine.
I like most EVERYTHING..There isn't a food I won't try. I love Asian, Mexican, Creole and simple Southern dishes. Anything that has some heat to, I am a total fan of.
I don't care for most melons. Such as watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew...
Call me crazy I know.
