about me

I live in Ontario.
I love the outdoors, camping with my daughter and friends, hiking with my all black German Shepherd named Popcorn, cycling with Popcorn and friends.
My DD loves Japanese anime and culture and I enjoy making her costumes and clothing. In the past year she has started getting some background spots on a few television shows and movies.
Since discovering Recipezaar I have become so addicted. A ridiculous amount of time is spent here
I'm trying to buy locally grown food more often. In the summer I love to go to our local farmers' market to buy fresh produce if I'm not working or out of town. Our farmers' market is only available Saturday's.

Favorite Foods:

My favourite foods are my mother's gruenkohl (kale), and her rotkohl (red cabbage). They always taste the best when she makes them. Okay, I admit it, my favourite food is potato chips. I try not to buy them as I have absolutely no self control when they're staring at me from the shelf.
