i'm a "mature" student at RMIT in environment/social science.
I love absurd movies, thick books, and bush walking, and i travel a LOT. My goal after graduating is to develop a school kitchen-garden initiative, and work to improve the quality of food available in school cafeterias. healthy food is fun food!
My favourite dish to cook is stuff-in-a-pot, in other words, making the most of whatever happens to be in the pantry When things go awry, i call it stuff-in-a-pot-with-salsa. Ah, salsa, what a lifesaver...
I don't think anything I cook qualifies as famous, at least not yet. I've had good reviews for my wheat flour tortillas.
My favourite restaurant is Nataraj Indian restaurant in Toronto, and my favourite single menu item is teriyaki salmon skin sushi maki, at any sushi shop on Bloor St. I love felafels in Amsterdam, Chicago-style pizza, modan-okonomiyaki in Kobe, laksa at the Chinese restaurant in Nowra, Australia, and everything at Cafe de Commerce, Paris.
