I have had a lifetimes addiction to trying new and often unusual recipes and I must confess to a very long standing obsession to recipe collecting. My cookbooks number over 200 and I have no idea how many recipes are in 2 big boxes. So many recipes, so little time! I'm infamous for making something one time and never being able to find it again. Having a puter has helped out a lot with that problem.

Since I have become insulin dependent I have devoted a lot of time to making sure that a diabetic lifestyle need not be dull and boring. I have found a lot of help in that area here on Zaar. I love this place.

I live on the Canadian prairie with one husband (I tried suggesting that I be allowed one more that would like to eat but that idea was shot down in a hurry), one somewhat spoiled Shih Tzu, and one Siamese mix cat who pretty much runs it all.
