about me

Graduate student at the University of Iowa, studying Japanese literature. Already have a BA in Japanese Lang & Lit, plus International Studies w/ Honors, and I minored in German. I'm planning to continue with my schooling until I get my Ph.D, and then I plan on becoming a professor.

I'm just here to leech recipes and inspiration. I live with my fiance and we switch off cooking duties.

Favorite Foods:

Non-spicy Japanese and Chinese food.
Baked goods — especially pies.
Meats.
Tea. Green tea, especially, but also oolong and milk teas. I am a tea snob. I won't touch Lipton with a 10-foot pole. I do not adulterate my precious green teas with sugar.
