about me

I have been collecting cookbooks since I have been married. I own over a 100. My favorites are the ones I purchased at the Antique Stores. I bake from September through January. Then I shut the oven down and we don't eat much cooked foods from then until next fall. We go into a healing mode and eat very healing foods. One of my daughters suffers from a serious incurable that is kept intact by this routine.

Favorite Foods:

I love to bite into a piece of fresh ripe fruit. I love to cook using whole foods. I love simmering beans in the stove all day, and the smell of fresh bread baking.
