about me

I'm a retired registered nurse and full-time grandma of seven terrific munchkins age eight and under - two beautiful girls and five, yes, five energetic,handsome boys three years old and younger. When I'm not babysitting, I love to garden, cook, crochet and create all kinds of craft projects. I love to read and since I've retired, have taken up canning and making jams, jellies, salsa and a barbeque sauce which is an "ancient chinese secret."

Favorite Foods:

I love gourmet cooking and make a mean chicken marsala and a number of other tasty dishes. I have no one favorite food since I like to try new and different dishes both at home and eating out. I look forward to sharing some of my dishes with other members on recipezaar.come. I
inadvertently stumbled across this site and it has been the best thing that I've ever found on the internet. The recipes have been great and I have been able to add a number of new dishes to my "make it again list." Thanks to all the other members who have so kindly shared their great recipes. My husband of 37 years thanks you all as well.
