Hello everyone! My name is Lori Pedroncelli. I am from Ohio originally, but lived in New Mexico for 3 years, before moving back in 2004.

Like everyone here, I LOVE to cook. I used to feel that I didn't have time, but now I am learning to make time. It's so important to me to sit down to dinner together as a family. My favorite part of the day.

I feel like I still have alot I can learn, especially when it comes to baking.

I recently got married in September, 2006 to my best friend, Estevan. My husband and I share a love of cooking together and I am much better at menu planning in advance, so that I don't panic about what we will be having for dinner. I really enjoy planning out the week and deciding what we will try next. I also try to do OAMC (once a month cooking) method when I can.

I love the food netork, and I really love Rachel Ray and her cookbooks. I am abit of a cookbook collector. However, I tend to rely on recipezaar first now when I am looking for something in particular. I love this site and it's community of users!

In my free time, I enjoy scrapbooking and would love to devote more time to it as a hobby. It is a great creative release for me. Estevan and I love to travel as much as we can as well. We have no children yet, but we do have 3 dogs, Bella, Bailey, and our newest addition, "Just Jack", who take much of our time and attention.

We are getting better at entertaining as well. Since moving back to Ohio, we have hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas at our house for the past 3 years. I enjoy putting the menus together and my husband is a huge help in the preparation! Couldn't do it without him.

Favorite Foods:

Mexican, Italian, Chinese...I am always trying out new recipes, and rarely make the same things twice. Chicken and dumplings is probably my specialty dish.

I love PF Changs, Montgomery Inn in Cincinnati, good sushi, and trying out new restaurants wherever we go. I also have a weakness for Chipotle... yum!

It is great to enjoy a good meal with a good glass of wine to complement it. Enjoy all types.

One of our favorite places is Las Vegas. So many great places, but Mon Ami Gabi, the french steakhouse in the Paris hotel, is always a favorite stop. It is directly across from the Bellagio fountains and a has a wonderful patio for dining. Great food, romantic envheironment. We highly recommend!
