I am a western Canadian that works in non-profits and plays roller derby on the side. The only successful cookbook I have ever found pleases my whole family is "Eat, Shrink, and Be Merry" the recipes are very nutritious but still manage to please my foodie spouse and picky toddler. Otherwise I usually surf foodnetwork.com and recipezaar and sort by rating.I adore cooking and am passionate about current events and pop culture. I absolutely detest chain restaurants that serve sloppy bland food and charge exorbitant prices for food I could make myself, and better.
My favorite dish to make for my family is my meatball soup, it is super healthy and comforting on a chilly fall day. The dish I am most famous for is my cajun chicken alfredo, proven to ensure that your guests will not move for at least an hour after eating and without any butter!
My favorite restaurant is the Louisiana Purchase here in Edmonton. So flavorful!! Every dish is a winner!
