Hi I'm Susan and I live on Australia's Gold Coast with my partner Chris and our cat Megz.

I'm a registered Australian migration consultant - I help people get visas to live and work in Australia and also help employers sponsor workers from overseas.

I couldn't choose a favourite cookbook - I have hundreds, but I do love magazines like Super Food Ideas and Good Taste, which are full of easy recipes that you can make without having to plan ahead. My pet peeve is hot weather. I just hate it - I wilt and pine for winter during our summer on the Gold Coast from December - February.

Just a quick note about my rating system - I only ever publish **** or ***** reviews - if a recipe turns out to be worth less, I assume it's my cooking that's at fault.

Favorite Foods:

I love slow cooking - especially casseroles and curries in the crock pot. I'm famous for my brie in puff pastry. I have heaps of favourite restaurants because I love so many kinds of food - Thai, Italian, steak, seafood, Indian - in fact, there isn't much I don't like!
