about me

I've gone from city girl to living on the edge of the Texas Hill Country and raising cattle. My constants are books and food. A life-long bibliophile, I now work as a library clerk. My passion for cooking continues and being around so many great Texas cooks nurtures that avocation.

Favorite Foods:

My kids expect me to grill something whenever they come to visit but I am best known for my Seafood Gumbo. I am half Cajun, half Lebonese, and all Texan. I love to go out for great Tex/Mex or seafood. However, now that we are land-locked, I have to provide the latter.
