about me

i'm not a big "computer" person but have found that they are not COMPLETELY without value!

this site, for instance, has been my saving grace as i am a HUGE fan of west african cooking and can not BELIEVE how many "lost" recipes i have found here.

a single dad of one, two-year-old little girl (winter cadeau), i cook daily and am perpetually searching for new and creative fare to present to her young, well informed pallet.

attieke (with fried fish or braised chicken)
mafe (peanut, okra, leaf) w/rice
west african beans w/ rice and fresh bread
taco trucks in LA (the best)!
heavily marbled rib eye steaks (medium-rare)
authentic southern italian
fresh sushi (creative itamae-sans welcome)
soul food (the way my auntie used to make)
...anything culturally TRUE
