I live in Northern California in the town of Placerville. It's a one hour drive East to Lake Tahoe or one hour West to our State Capitol, Sacramento. Great location.
I have worked in field of Oral Surgery for just about 20 years.
I have twin sons that just turned 16 years old. 2 summers ago one of my twins's, Nicholas, decided to move to Australia to live with his father. This has been most difficult for me.
My other son, Jonathon, lives with me and is a great kid. He's on the high school golf team and gets good grades. He say's he glad that his brother lives at his dad's. (they didn't get along very well).
We have one dog adopted from the local shelter, Jewel who is a "Jewel". She'4 years old and a border collie mix...very sweet.
We also have a goffin cockatoo and her name is Skittles, she's a kick.
I love spring and fall the most and love being outdoors.
UPDATE: 2/07 My other twin, Jonathon has also chosen to move to Australia after a short visit this last Christmas. We'll see how it goes. I wish the best for them both..
"Cooking for one" ?????
UPDATE:7/07 Well.... Jonathon is back "for good, he says" he lasted 6 months with his father. I'm so happy to have him home ![]()
UPDATE: 11/07 Nicholas is coming home for Christmas
he will visit for one month...I am so happy.
UPDATE: 1/08 We are enjoying Nicholas being here Sooo much
I have next week off work so we will be going to a "KINGS" game tomorrow night !!!!!!!!!!!!
Then snowboarding (not me LOL) and hangin' out at "Grandma's Cabin" in Kyburz, California....even closer to Lake Tahoe. Then on the 19th we will drive to San Francisco where Nick will fly back to Ausieland
((

I love Mexican food. I grew up in Southern California. We would actually drive into Mexico for lunch sometimes. My favorite place was a little restaurant in Puerto Nuevo, Yummmmy lobster.
I also like Italian. I love salads but hate to make them...I don't know why.
My big thing is Christmas Eve dinner. I have anywhere from 12-18 people and love it. My tradition is Prime Rib and it's awesome, if I do say so myself.
