about me

I am a teenager who is very interested in cooking. I am currently looking at different cooking schools, but the one I am most interested in is the CIA in New York. I would like to be a chef or a food writer for a magazine. I live with my two parents, a rabbit and a dog that drives us all crazy. My hobbies are cooking, soccer, and having a good time with my friends. I love to travel and taste the traditional and authentic food of the region I am in. I especially love NY and the unique blend of cultures I experience when I visit.

Favorite Foods:

I have no favorite food, but the foods I like the most are those using fresh vegetables, fruits, meat etc. I also love to eat traditional food that has been prepared this same way for many generations, even when its not the best tasting food I still like experiencing what was eaten so long ago. I LOVE chocolate! I am a chocolate purist, I like mine dark, bittersweet and very rich whether it comes in the form of a bar or a cake. I am not famous for any dishes, but I did send in a recipe to Taste of Home magazine that got published. I try to cook things that are fairly healthful, and I enjoy transforming a rather fattening recipe into something lighter....with the exception of chocolate, no skimping there!
