I live in NC. For fun, I like to travel, spend time with family and friends and of course to cook and eat. My passions are family, friends, church and my two cats.

The photo on my AMP is one of my babies, MissTail. I will try to change it periodically to show off my other baby, Bobtail!

If I had a month off of work, I would love to travel and cook, (I may would have time to try more of the delicious recipes on this website). However, this must wait until I retire.

In 2005 I was honored to meet several Zaarites at the Twisted Fork restaurant in Raleigh, NC.

Because of Zaar, I have ventured out and tried new and different foods! Spring of 2006, I even planted my first herbs! My teeny weeny herb garden consisted of basil, parsley, chives and rosemary! You can see them here along with our two tomato plants! LOL!



Spring of 2007 - The garden increased to 4 tomato plants, 4 okra plants, 2 pepper plant, 2 squash plants, one zucchini, one jalapeno, basil, chives, cilantro and rosemary!

I love all types of cuisines and will pretty much try anything new.

As far as posting recipes on Zaar, I will post recipes that I have not tasted nor made, but will let you know this in the description. I feel that since people have different tastes than I do, I may just post something that appeals to them. I will let the ingredients speak for themselves. If I try a recipe and do not care for it, I usually chalk it up to differences in tastes and try to explain that in my review. I am HOOKED ON ZAAR!
