about me

I live in the Chicago area with my husband and two school age boys. I love cooking and really enjoy this website. I am always looking for new recipes to please the whole family (not easy!). I have found quite a few keepers!

Favorite Foods:

My husband and children rave about my pasta dishes, especially those with a traditional pasta sauce - Baked Mostacilli, Lasagne, etc. and I take that as compliment coming from my husband whose mother is Itailian. I would love to post my sauce recipe except that there are really no exact measures - all by tasting!

I would love to learn how to cook more Aisan style dishes and am always looking for unusual dishes to prepare. Being in the Midwest it's a little too much about comfort food! (Although who could live without a good old Chicago style Beef Sandwich or Hot Dog now and then!)
