I am global business advisor in the high tech sector and travel a great deal for my work. I have lived in several countries and love to explore new places and make them "my own".

Other than that, I have 3 mastiffs that I dote on and enjoy photography, reading, writing and radio production.
I enjoy experimenting with cooking and have achieved what my husband refers to "grandma level" skills in some arenas. I am not, generally, a recipe loyalist and tend to use numerous recipes as guides as I figure out how I woudl like the dish balanced.
Currently experimenting extensively with Persian food as it has always been a favorite and it is harder to find now that we are living in this part of the country.
I am "famous" for my chocolate peanut butter cake (pb cream cheese frosting), oatmeal pecan cookies, mashed potatoes, matzo ball soup, cheesy noodles, vereneky & perogie, fesenjan and norwegian style leg of lamb.
