Hi Everyone! I live about 1hr north of Brisbane Queensland at a beautiful place called Bribie Island which is connected to the mainland by a bridge. I live there with my wonderful Husband who I've been married to for 12 years ( Oct 2007) - I'm a very lucky lady. For fun I like to cook, eat and drink and occassionaly get out and do some exercise to balance out all the eating I do. Like alot of other people at Zaar I have way too many cookbooks and I just keep buying them (I can't help myself). My poor husband doesn't get much of a look-in in the kitchen department anymore, mind you when he did he made a fantastic Seafood Marina from scratch (he tells me the recipe is a family secret that has been handed down for generations and that he can't even tell me - I just think he makes that up as he goes along!) also a wonderful vegie pie just to name a few.
I really like most foods, but I won't eat any offal meat - YUK!!!! I'm not famous for any particular dish, I make too many, but to my friends I'm famous for making things from scratch and not out of a box or a packet - it's not that hard if you enjoy it and can read a recipe I tell them. Our favourite restaurant is Lukes by the Sea it located about 3klm from where we like and they have the best food and great service
