My interest in cooking started when I was in 9th grade home economics. We had to make a dish at home that represented our ethnic background and bring to class the next day. I made potato soup for the class and they loved it but I didn't think it was perfect. This lead to my obsession with making dishes over and over again until I decide they are just right (or at least close to it).
Along with cooking and eating I also enjoy hiking, river floating, fine beer, being outside, staying in sometimes, ALL kinds of animals (I currently own 6 fish and a new hedgehog named Stimpy), procrastinating, meeting cool people, good conversations, etc.
Oh geez... I'm not sure. I would have to say barbecued pork ribs, ribeye (cooked medium rare only), boiled crawfish, biscuits, brussels sprouts (I know, weird, huh?), dark chocolate, creme brulee, quiche... I could keep going. Man, now I'm hungry thanks a lot!
