I am married to my best friend; a wonderful woman from Barranquilla, Colombia, and have 3 amazing and inspiring children (from my previous marriage) and my dog; all of which are cherished gifts from Hashem (G-d). I work in a spiritual and religious capacity in my community. I Love to spend time with my family, travelling, creating art, carpentry, the outdoors, fresh air, reading, collecting authentic Latin American music during my travels, watching street vendors prepare food in foreign countries, cooking, shopping for fresh ingredients, public markets and ethnic food stores. I am a published writer who writes fiction and non-fiction for fun and enjoy exploring the smaller communities in British Columbia and this awe-invoking world we live in.

Favorite Foods:

Everything and anything kosher except meat with jelly on it. Yuk! I love to cook and give kosher cooking classes in my community. I specialize in Indian (Gujarat), Mexican, Kosher, European, Oriental, Italian, Colombian, Victorian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Pacific Rim and fussion cuisine. I love the challenge of transforming international non-kosher recipes into kosher recipes and having them compared or critiqued by indigenous cooks. It's all good!
