about me

I live in rural west virginia in top of a mountain. . We raise seven kids,a few cows,chickens and rabbits and have 2 acres of garden.fun is playing with the kids. My favorite cookbook is the modern american family by meta given published in 1942.My passions are cooking,canning, and decorating. my pet peeve is people who are rude!! If I had a month off I'd read and play with my kids.I recently began working with the developmentally disabled and love it!!

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dishes to cook are anything seafood because I was born and raised in New Bedford,Ma. and had access to it always. I'm famous for my soups,my kids says I can make a pot of soup from nothing.My favorite restaurant is Friends in Lewisburg,W.V. mostly because the service is excellent and the food is wonderful.
